Snow is still on the ground, but that hasn't stopped us from starting to work on the library's garden!

Our Rise and Romp Storytime friends did a GREAT job starting snapdragon, zinnia, cosmos, purple coneflower, chive and cantaloupe seeds.  By the end of May all of these (and more) will be planted in our flower and vegetable gardens.  Until then they'll be in a sunny window in the library's program room where we can all enjoy watching them sprout!

Many thanks to the Greenfield Garden Club for their generous support of the Orange Public Libraries' ongoing "Reading, Learning, and Growing in our Library's Gardens" program!
