Vacation Week Fun at Wheeler Memorial Library

On Tuesday February 17th I enjoyed a very warm welcome from Candy Cross and the Wheeler Library community. Thank you for making the new kid in town feel so at ease already! Children and families came together to enjoy a storytelling and musical program from performer John Porcino, who brought many unusual instruments and funny stories to entertain us all. Highlights included a chorus of percussion frogs to remind us that the spring peepers will be here soon, and a very shy mouse friend cleverly created out of a handkerchief. (It moved in a very life-like way!)
The library will be open today (Thursday) until 8 and on Saturday from 10-2. If the week of vacation from school is starting to become tinged with cabin fever, come visit us for DVDs, games, CDs, and of course BOOKS!
Thanks again for the wonderful welcome to your community!
