|Sarah Orne Jewett|
Sarah Orne Jewett (1849-1909), was an American fiction writer contemporary with Mark Twain, who grew up in South Berwick, Maine, where she lived much of her life. Her stories mirror the everyday lives of New Englanders; often reflecting the mysterious and supernatural. Sarah formed friendships with a number of the major artists and intellectuals of her time, including Willa Cather, Henry James, Rudyard Kipling, Harriet Beecher Stowe, and John Greenleaf Whittier.
Rita Parisi has been entertaining audiences for over 17 years. She creates shows that highlight her passion for theater as well as history, literature and costuming. She has had the pleasure of performing these shows all over New England. Rita is also actively involved in the independent film scene and her films have debuted at the Boston International Film Festival and the Cannes Film Festival.
