To Bee or Not to Bee!
The Piti Theatre and the Wheeler Memorial Library are joining together again for a fun filled event. The audience at Orange Town Hall on May 19th at 3:00 will witness creativity, live music, and great acting all on the behalf of the bees that pollinate our flowers and that are needed to grow our food. Those 6 years old and older may become part of the cast if they come to the workshop at 2:00 when they will learn their part. There will be activities for both older and younger children coming at 2:00. Those under 8 should plan to attend with an adult.
"To Bee or Not to Bee" is Piti Theatre Company’s new play with music (singer-songwriter Carrie Ferguson is live onstage). It’s a comic, tragic and ultimately hopeful tale of a farmer and his bees – complete with puppets, dance and plenty of audience participation. Children will receive seeds to plant bee gardens after the show as part of Piti’s “10% For the Bees” Campaign. This a free event sponsored by the Wheeler Memorial Library and the Art Angels. Workshop for children ages 7 -12 who want to be part of the performance at 2 pm, Performance at 3 pm. Orange Town Hall, 6 Prospect Street.
