Ed the Wizard at a past library performance
The Wheeler Memorial Library in Orange MA will have programs for children of all ages during the school’s spring vacation April 17-19. On Tuesday at 10:30 Rise and Read will welcome all preschoolers and recent “graduates” for stories, songs, and a craft. Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 those 12 years old and older are welcome to make stretch bead rings with Samantha. With all the materials provided, this workshop is limited to 12 participants. Call the library to register 978-544-2495 x103. Registration is also required for Ed the Wizard’s classes in magic. Those who are 8 years old or older will learn many magic tricks over two classes. The classes are on Wednesday April 18 from 2:30 to 4:00 and April 19 from 4:30 to 6:00. Participants need to attend both classes in order to become proficient in their new skill. The grand finale will be a performance at 6:00 on April 19. The show will be free and open to the public. It will feature the class members and Ed the Wizard. The magic program is supported in part by a grant from the Orange Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency. The bead ring classes are being generously donated by the instructor. Please note that the library will be closed for the holiday on Monday, April 16th.
