Learn how to give your baby a massage!

Benefits of Infant Massage for Baby*

    • Relaxes child and helps to decrease stress for you and your baby.
    • Relieves discomfort from constipation, gas, and colic.
    • Helps normalize muscle tone and improve blood circulation.
    • Helps baby sleep better (and, therefore, parents sleep better!).

A 4 part series Wednesday evenings May 2, 9, 16, 23, 6:00-7:00

A 2 part series Mondays May 14 and 21, 2:00-3:00

A 2 part series Tuesdays May 15 and 22, 2:00-3:00

Please bring a towel or soft blanket and oil.

The oil should not be mineral oil which is the base of many baby oils. The oil should be vegetable base such as almond oil or canola oil.

The Orange Libraries are able to offer this extraordinary workshop free of charge because of a grant received from the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act as administered by the state of Massachusetts.
