Summer events at Moore-Leland Library in North Orange
Buggy summertime activities are happening at the Moore-Leland Library in North Orange.
An end of Summer Reading Club celebration will be held at the Moore-Leland Library in
Moore-Leland Library patrons of all ages have been reading to accumulate points toward the purchase of a bee hive through Heifer International. When the readers have finished 120 books, a bee hive will go to a needy family somewhere in the world. The bees produce honey and bees wax to sell increase fruit and vegetable harvests. This can go a long way toward improving the life of a very poor family. We hope to reach our reading goal by July 29th. Attendees are encouraged to bring the title of books they have read this summer to the celebration.
